Baptist Health Pre Med Academy

Every year, Baptist Health accepts applications for our Pre-Med Academy program, designed to assist college students on the pre-med track to develop mentorships with local physicians. In the past, programs have been available at several of our hospitals across Kentucky and Southern Indiana.

Selected students have the opportunity to rotate with physicians and advanced practice providers throughout their chosen area(s) of interest. Students typically spend an average of 20 hours a week for four-six weeks in the summer, shadowing providers in a variety of healthcare settings and specialties. A stipend is provided upon successful completion of the program.
