Today, the Oldham County EMS was recognized at a ceremony including a proclamation from Oldham County Judge Executive David Voegele declaring it Oldham County/Baptist Health EMS Day and words of thanks from Dr. Tom Clark, Chairman of the Board for Oldham County Ambulance Taxing District and Clint Kaho, president of Baptist Health La Grange.
The Baptist Health Paducah stroke program joined an elite group by being honored with The Get With the Guidelines® Silver Plus Quality Achievement Award for meeting national guidelines for stroke care, as outlined by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association.
Baptist Health Paducah will host a free telemedicine program about dementia care from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 25, in Meeting Room A, located in Medical Park 2.
