The American Hospital Association recently commissioned The Future of Rural Health Care task force to work with legislators to help draft policies to address the healthcare challenges in rural communities.
Today, the Oldham County EMS was recognized at a ceremony including a proclamation from Oldham County Judge Executive David Voegele declaring it Oldham County/Baptist Health EMS Day and words of thanks from Dr. Tom Clark, Chairman of the Board for Oldham County Ambulance Taxing District and Clint Kaho, president of Baptist Health La Grange.
The Baptist Health Paducah stroke program joined an elite group by being honored with The Get With the Guidelines® Silver Plus Quality Achievement Award for meeting national guidelines for stroke care, as outlined by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association.
