Jansen Barrett, a physical therapist assistant at Baptist Health Rehabilitation, has been selected as the recipient of the Outstanding Physical Therapist Assistant Service Award by the Kentucky Physical Therapy Association.

She will receive the award at the KPTA 2019 Annual Conference in Lexington on Sept. 28.

Barrett serves as the KPTA’s district chair. “Her leadership has set the bar for participation and engagement in our regions,” said Michael Muscarella, executive director for ambulatory services at Baptist Health Paducah. “She is tenacious about the courses she pursues to add value not only to physical therapy clinicians, but occupational therapy clinicians as well. She is a role model for all physical therapy clinicians.”

Barrett has worked at Baptist Health Rehabilitation since 2016. She is a graduate of the Physical Therapist Assistant program at West Kentucky Community & Technical College.
