The Senior Psychiatric Unit at Baptist Health Corbin is an 18-bed unit that provides a safe environment for seniors ages 65 and above that require behavioral health services.            

An interdisciplinary team approach to treatment is utilized in caring for the patients and their families. The team includes Psychiatrists, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors, Master's Prepared Therapists, Recreation Specialists and Mental Health Technicians.

• 24-Hour Nursing Care 
• Individual, Group, and Family therapy 
• Individualized Treatments and Aftercare Planning
• Medical Services and Consults
• Individualized Education
• Therapeutic Recreational Groups and Activities

Referrals are accepted from nursing homes, behavioral health agencies, private clinician offices, primary care physicians, and community or self-referrals.
