Baptist Health Corbin's Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is for adolescents 12-17 years of age. IOP helps patients renew and rebuild their behavioral health. The program utilizes both individual and group therapy sessions to help patients reach a healthier lifestyle. These programs are led by a master's prepared therapist and a registered nurse.

These programs are designed for adolescents who have:

• Symptoms that are not responding to current outpatient therapy and/or medicine
• Recent or past inpatient psychiatric hospitalization with new symptoms
• Difficulty dealing with past crisis situations, but do not meet the criteria for inpatient psychiatric treatment

These programs provide therapy, medication evaluation, and follow-up in a warm, therapeutic environment.
