About Baptist Health Richmond

Founded in 1892, Baptist Health Richmond, formerly known as Pattie A. Clay Regional Medical Center, primarily serves Madison, Estill, Garrard, Jackson and Lee counties.

The 105-bed hospital in Richmond includes 94 acute care and 11 psychiatric beds. The hospital offers 19 points of care in a full continuum, from inpatient care and diagnostics to rehabilitation services and home care. Services include cardiac surgery, orthopedics, spine care, a sleep disorders center, cancer care, diabetic treatment, a retail pharmacy, behavioral health services and a full range of women’s services, including obstetrics.   

Baptist Health has a network of healthcare providers for patients in the Richmond area – from Baptist Health Medical Group offices to Baptist Health Urgent Care. The hospital is also designated Pathway to Excellence® for excellence in nursing services by the American Nursing Credentialing Center.
