Baptist Health Paducah was first recognized for this award in 2021. Baptist Health Paducah is one of 3 hospitals in Kentucky, the only hospital in the region, and one of only 43 in the nation, to earn the distinction as HeartCARE Center National Distinction of Excellence.
  • Get With the Guidelines® Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award for meeting national guidelines for stroke care, as defined by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, 2021.
  • Recognized as a high performing hospital for 2021-22 by U.S. News & World Report, earning a high performing rating for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), heart attack and kidney failure, 2021.
  • Heart attack treatment recognized among the nation’s best by the American College of Cardiology for the ninth year. Baptist Health is one of only 212 hospitals nationwide to receive the NCDR® (National Cardiovascular Data Registry) Chest Pain-MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award.   • Recognized by Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) of Kentucky as a Blue Distinction Plus Center for Maternity Care – a distinction held by only 489 hospitals nationwide, 2021.
