Bi-PAP Therapy

Bi-PAP therapy provides two levels of air pressure - increased pressure as you inhale and decreased pressure as you exhale.

What You Need to Know

  • Don't eat for one to two hours before Bi-PAP therapy.
  • The most common complication of this therapy is an abrasion on your nose. Applying a wound-care dressing can eliminate this problem.
