Paducah, KY – May 12 2016 –For the fifth time since 2011, Baptist Health Paducah has received the Women’s Choice Award as one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Patient Experience.

The qualification process for the honor focuses on female patient satisfaction and recommendation scores. All scoring is objective and uniform and the Women’s Choice Award accepts no payment in exchange for placement on the list.

“We are honored that women recognize the efforts of our staff to create a healing environment,” said hospital president William A. Brown. “We take pride in providing patients and their loved ones with true compassion and quality care.”

Patient Relations director Stacey Young said it is the job of every employee to make a patient’s experience great. “Outstanding service is a direct result of exceptional employees committed to treating every patient like family,” Young said. “That means we go beyond the clinical needs of our patients and families. We are concerned with their overall comfort, the healing environment and an atmosphere where teamwork, compassion and quality are palpable. Our housekeepers, cooks and maintenance staff are just as important as our doctors, nurses and therapists. It takes everyone to make an experience great.”

The award signifies Baptist Health Paducah’s commitment and passion to providing an extraordinary healthcare experience for women and all patients, said Delia Passi, CEO and Founder of the Women’s Choice Award. “Being treated with the proper level of care impacts one’s health, well-being and healing so it is critical for women to know those hospitals that have demonstrated the highest level of quality care to their patients, with a special focus on the female experience,” Passi said.
