At Baptist Health Richmond, we offer a chemical
dependency intensive outpatient program.

So this is a group that meets to offer support and
guidance for those who are in active addiction,

working on their journey to recovery.

Intensive outpatient would include tools such as coping
skills, resources, family education,

and just general talking about recovery and what all
that kind of brings with it.

We're a group that's going to process through those and
offer support and guidance to both you and your family.

One service that we're very excited about is the
addition of peer support.

Our peer support specialist is going to be somebody who
has experience with addiction,

who has experience with a lot of the struggles and the
issues that somebody in active addiction may face.

So they kind of have that firsthand experience.

They're there to talk with you about, you know,
what coping skills has worked for them,

what's been helpful for them in their recovery,
and just to appear an ally,

and just to be that additional support to kind of help
you along through your journey to recovery.

At Baptist Health Richmond,
we believe in providing compassionate integrated

treatment for individuals in recovery,
and we believe that mental health is just as important

as physical health.

Our team is there to meet you where you are at.

So if you are ready for, you know,
your journey to recovery,

just let us know and we're here
to support you along the way.
