Baptist Health Paducah names new Cardiac Telemetry director

Baptist Health Paducah has named Tonya Edwards, RN, as the director of the Cardiac Telemetry unit, located on the hospital's fourth floor.

Baptist Health Paducah has named Tonya Edwards, RN, as the director of the Cardiac Telemetry unit, located on the hospital’s fourth floor.

Edwards has worked on that unit since 2002, starting as a nurse aide. She became a charge nurse and also worked in the education department, before most recently serving as the unit’s clinical educator.

She received an associate’s degree in nursing from West Kentucky Community & Technical College, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from University of Phoenix and a master’s degree in nursing from Capella University.
