Dr. John S. Oldham Jr., MD, FACS, FASMBS, DABOM is board certified in General Surgery and Obesity Medicine, with specialized expertise in Bariatric Surgery and Bariatric Medicine. He holds a Focused Practice Designation in Bariatric Surgery, and 100% of his clinical practice is dedicated to the treatment of the disease of obesity. Dr. Oldham is a Fellow of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS). He founded the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Program at Baptist Health Louisville and has served as its Medical Director since the program’s inception, leading its growth and ongoing commitment to high-quality, evidence-based obesity care.
