Effective April 20, 2023, but subject to change based on patient and staff safety related to COVID-19 status.
Visitation restriction guidelines are enforced for the therapeutic benefits to the patient. Exceptions to the visiting guidelines may be made at the discretion of the patient, the patient's nurse, and the physician with therapeutic consideration, including emotional, spiritual and/or physical comfort of the patient. Patients may receive visitors of their choice unless such visits harm the medical condition and have a negative effect on their recovery or are not consistent with hospital policy. Patients have the right to withdraw the consent for visitation at any time.
General daytime visitation is daily 5 a.m. until 9 p.m. Visitors are recommended to be limited to no more than two at a time. One overnight guest is allowed. Any visitor entering between the hours of 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. will need to enter through the Emergency Department and obtain a “Visitor ID badge” from security. Minors are not allowed to remain on hospital property past visiting hours without a non-patient parent or guardian.
*Note there may be times the hospital may not allow visitors unless a special consideration is made i.e. pandemic, acts of violence/threats
Cancer Care: One visitor for outpatient oncology treatment settings and radiation therapy.
Isolation Patient: Visitors are required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment per posted signage.
Maternity/Labor & Delivery/Antepartum: Significant other and two visitors. All visitors, other than siblings, must be over 16.
NICU: Bracelet holders, plus four designated visitors. Only 2 people at the bedside at a time, one must be a bracelet holder. No one under 16.

Baptist Health Medical Group, which includes medical offices and Baptist Health Urgent Care locations, is not currently limiting visitors per patient.
Masking is now optional at Baptist Health Medical Group Physician offices.
