Healthier Community Initiative
Baptist Health Floyd's Healthier Community Initiative (HCI) is a collaboration between Southern Indiana community partners and Baptist Health Floyd. HCI strives to create health and well-being to the region by providing screenings, prevention and education programs.
Baptist Health Floyd performs a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) every three years and has adopted a strategic implementation plan to meet the community health needs identified in the assessment. Through the strategic implementation plan HCI strives to meet the needs of all populations in our community.
HCI coordinates community coalitions to work on health priorities identified in the CHNA. These coalitions are comprised of key community partners. This partnership helps Baptist Health Floyd make a bigger impact on the health of our community.
HCI provides yearlong programming with multiple community partners to fit ever-changing needs of our community. This helps to improve the health and well-being of the community in which we work and serve.
