Baptist Health Medical Group welcomes Robert Farrell, MD

ELIZABETHTOWN, KY. (July 23, 2026) – Baptist Health Medical Group welcomes Robert Farrell, MD, to the General Surgery team. Dr. Farrell provides skilled, patient-centered care and specializes in general and bariatric surgery, including anti-reflux procedures, endoscopic and minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques.

Dr. Farrell received his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He then completed a general surgery residency at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, followed by a laparoscopic and advanced surgery fellowship at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. 

Dr. Farrell is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and has additional training in endoscopic and minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons, and Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.

Dr. Farrell is accepting new patients. He will be practicing at Baptist Health Medical Group General Surgery, located at 200 Cardinal Dr., Suite 210, in Elizabethtown.
