Baptist Health Medical Group welcomes radiation oncologist Raymond Wynn MD

PADUCAH, KY (May 29, 2024) - Baptist Health Medical Group Radiation Oncology is pleased to announce the addition of radiation oncologist, Raymond Wynn, MD to their team. Dr. Wynn will be working alongside Dr. Peter Locken, serving as the only two radiation oncologists in Paducah.

A fellow of the American College of Radiology, Dr. Wynn brings over 30 years of experience to our cancer care team to offer compassionate, patient-centered care. He specializes in diagnosing and treating cancer through radiation therapy, with an expertise in lung cancer, malignant mesothelioma, prostate cancer and tumors of the brain and spine.

Dr. Wynn received his medical degree at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN, and furthered his training through residency and fellowship positions. He completed his radiation oncology residency at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry, followed by a Neuro-Radiation Oncology fellowship at the same institution. Additionally, he completed a clinical oncology fellowship with the American Cancer Society.

With certifications from the American Board of Radiology and the American Board of Medical Examiners, as well as memberships in medical organizations such as the American College of Radiology, American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology, American Medical Association, Council of Affiliated Regional Radiation Oncology Societies and the National Medical Association, Dr. Wynn is well-equipped to provide comprehensive care to patients battling cancer.

Dr. Wynn is now accepting new patients at Baptist Health Medical Group Radiation Oncology, located at Baptist Health Paducah’s main campus in the Ray & Kay Regional Cancer Care Center.
