ELIZABETHTOWN, KY. (March 5, 2024) – Ivan Pena Sing, MD, FACC, has joined Baptist Health Medical Group Cardiology to offer compassionate, patient-centered care.
Dr. Pena Sing specializes in interventional and invasive cardiology. His services include comprehensive treatment for cardiovascular disorders, treatment and preventive care for coronary artery disease, and cardiac and peripheral interventions.
Among Dr. Pena Sing’s special interests are arrhythmias; cardiovascular risk reduction; coronary artery disease and peripheral vascular disease management; endovascular vein repair and therapies; pulmonary embolism and vein thrombosis; and more.
A native of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Dr. Pena Sing earned his medical degree, magna cum laude, from Instituto Technologico de Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. After medical school, he completed internal medicine residencies at the Hospital Dr. Salvador B. Gautier in Santo Domingo and New York University School of Medicine, followed by fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at New York University-affiliated hospitals.
Dr. Pena Sing is board certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, endovascular medicine, internal medicine, and vascular medicine. Additionally, he is nationally certified in vascular ultrasound interpretation by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography®. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, American Society of Echocardiography, and the society for Vascular Medicine.
