Fair experience, just felt overwhelmed by doctor and his verbiage and how fast he talked.

Dr. Per was nice but he repeated himself many times in terms of statistics and research results when asked about whether a certain treatment would be appropriate for me. I appreciate his knowledge but he seemed more comfortable doing that than listening to my concerns. He even thought I was taking one medication and counseling me on that, when I wasn't taking it (and had never). He documented he'd spent >45 mins with me but much of that time was spent on his analysis of studies, etc. Even though he did spend a lot of time with me, I'm not quite sure I felt heard. I repeated my question(s) several times. I will follow his recommendations but not sure I'll go back for follow up. I'm post menopausal and he is a fairly new provider-nice and smart as can be. Perhaps his focus is more on younger demographics of childbearing age as I can see him doing well with It.
