Matthew Bailey, MD, FACS, is in Elizabethtown and is double board certified in general and colorectal surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed residency and internship at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He completed fellowship training at Ochsner Medical Center–Main Campus. Dr. Bailey treats a wide range of conditions, including robotic surgery for hernias, colon and rectal cancer, diverticulitis, hiatal hernia, and reflux disease. He performs upper and lower endoscopy. He performs surgery for portacaths, gallbladder disease, and skin and soft tissue disorders. He also performs surgery for anorectal conditions such as hemorrhoids, fissures, fistulas, prolapse, and fecal incontinence.
