Louisville Pharmacy Residencies Stipend & Benefits
Office space and amenities - Each resident is assigned a personal desk space with laptop computer and double monitors. In addition, each resident has access to:
- Office supplies and copier
- In house personal phone
- Desk phone
Vacation, holiday and sick leave - Residents are granted allowed time off (ATO) during the residency year to provide for personal leave, sick leave, and family leave. Residents are also eligible for professional leave, which includes time for board examinations, interview days, and time to attend conferences not required by the program. will accrue vacation leave and sick time as a regular Baptist Health employee. Residents will be required to staff one winter/major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year’s) and one summer holiday (Memorial Day).
Professional Travel - The resident will be given the opportunity to attend two professional meetings during the year. Funding will be provided for the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Midyear Clinical Meeting and the Great Lakes Pharmacy Residents Conference. The purpose of attending these professional development meetings is networking and service to the profession.
Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Coverage - Residents are eligible for benefit packages as an employee of Baptist Health Louisville. Plan options are discussed during hospital employee orientation.
