Corbin PGY1 Community Based Pharmacy Residency Stipend & Benefits

Stipend: $48,000/year

Office space and amenities - Each resident is assigned a personal desk space with computer and double monitors. In addition, each resident has access to:

  • Office supplies and copier 
  • Desk phone

Vacation, holiday and sick leave - Residents will accrue vacation leave and sick time as a regular Baptist Health employee. Residents will be required to staff one winter/major holiday (Thanksgiving or Christmas) and one summer/minor holiday (Labor Day or Memorial Day).

Professional Travel - The resident will be given the opportunity to attend two professional meetings during the year. Funding will be provided for the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Midyear Clinical Meeting and the Great Lakes Pharmacy Residents Conference. The purpose of attending these professional development meetings is networking and service to the profession.

Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Coverage - Residents are eligible for benefit packages as an employee of Baptist Health Corbin. Plan options are discussed during hospital employee orientation.
