P.R.A.Y. event to focus on mental wellbeing and self-care

ELIZABETHTOWN, KY (May 1, 2025) - Baptist Health Hardin and First Baptist Church present P.R.A.Y. (Prevention, Reflection, Assessment, You) — a morning focused on mental wellness and self-care for the community.

The event will be held on Saturday, May 17, at the B.T. Bishop Christian Life Center, located at 107 Bishop Lane in Elizabethtown. It is being planned as an uplifting and informative event centered on the importance of mental health.

The day begins with registration at 9:30 a.m., followed by the main program at 10 a.m. At 11:15 a.m., guests will enjoy brunch and a health fair, where they’ll have the opportunity to speak with local medical professionals and explore a variety of community wellness vendors.

Imran Iqbal, MD, psychiatrist with Baptist Health Medical Group Behavioral Health, will be the keynote speaker. Dr. Iqbal will share expert insights into mental health awareness, reflection, and proactive self-care.

This event is open to the public and offers a unique opportunity to pause, connect, and prioritize personal wellness in a supportive and faith-based environment.
