Ty E. Richardson, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon in Louisville specializing in orthopedic sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder. A Texas native, he earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch and completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Louisville, where he published research in orthopedic trauma. Dr. Richardson then completed a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at the Hughston Clinic in Georgia, focusing on advanced arthroscopic treatment of shoulder and knee injuries to help athletes safely return to play.
