Richard “Alex” Sweet II, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon in Louisville specializing in knee and hip reconstruction, including minimally invasive total and partial joint replacement. A Louisville native, he earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Hawaii. Dr. Sweet then completed the prestigious Otto E. Aufranc Fellowship in Knee and Hip Reconstruction at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, gaining advanced expertise in the latest techniques and technologies for joint replacement surgery.
