Dr. Christopher Hughes Federico is an obstetrician-gynecologist in Louisville who provides personalized care for women’s health and pregnancy needs. He earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Tulane Medical Center. Dr. Federico is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is dedicated to patient-centered care that supports women through every stage of life. He specializes in normal and high risk prenatal care including management of several conditions including diabetes, high blood pressure, and history of previous pregnancy loss. Dr. Federico has clinical interest in polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), difficulty conceiving, and irregular or heavy menstrual bleeding disorders including fibroids, endometriosis, and adenomyosis. Dr. Federico is proud to offer minimally invasive gynecologic surgery approaches when needed.
