WHO WE ARE

Emergency Department

Stabilization of a variety of disease processes and age groups is the goal for working in the Emergency Department. This includes the management of all diseases and disorders of the body. Diagnoses range from minor (sprains, sore throats, and gastroenteritis) to severe (myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular accident, and cardiac arrest). Interventions frequently performed are assessment and monitoring based on the patient’s presentation, ventilatory support, splinting of musculoskeletal injuries, and advanced cardiac life support.
