CORBIN, Ky. (May 18, 2026) — Baptist Health Corbin is pleased to announce a new partnership with Envision to provide emergency medicine care, enhancing the delivery of timely, high-quality and compassionate care to the community.

“This is about showing up for our community in the moments that matter most,” said Angelia Foster, President of Baptist Health Corbin. “Patients place an enormous amount of trust in us to care for them and their families, and this partnership with Envision strengthens our ability to provide exceptional care when it is needed most. Their physician-led team brings experienced leadership, clinical expertise and a shared commitment to quality, compassionate care. Since beginning our work together in April, they have quickly become a valued partner in supporting our patients, providers and community.”

Envision, which serves as National Partners for the Practice of Medicine, supports a team of board-certified physicians and skilled advanced practice providers at Corbin, bringing clinical expertise and resources to enhance the patient experience and strengthen continuity of care. The clinicians are working alongside hospital leadership and care teams to enhance the patient experience and tailor care to each patient’s unique needs.

“As clinicians, providing emergency care is more than a job or the science behind the medicine – it is deeply personal,” said Mariah Jackson-Arnett, MD, Associate Site Medical Director of Emergency Medicine at an affiliated Envision practice. “We meet people on some of the hardest days of their lives, and when a community member comes through those doors, we do everything we can to heal and comfort them in their greatest time of need.”

“In this evolving healthcare landscape, great patient care starts with great support,” said Christopher Newton, MD, FACEP, President and Chief Medical Officer of Emergency Medicine and Hospital Medicine at Envision. “We are committed to uplifting clinicians so they can focus on patients and supporting hospitals so they can enhance patients’ care experience. We are proud to partner with Baptist Health Corbin, a hospital with such a strong commitment to its community.”

Through their shared commitment, Baptist Health Corbin and Envision are focused on:

  • Delivering personalized, high-quality care
  • Enhancing the care experience
  • Supporting clinicians with resources that empower them to deliver their best care
  • Improving patients’ access to emergency care
The partnership is part of a broader Baptist Health system, through which Envision is also providing emergency medicine and hospital medicine care at Baptist Health Paducah. Such clinical care is provided by physicians and advanced practice providers through professional entities affiliated with Envision.
