Baptist Health Hardin and Abound Credit Union team up for health and financial wellness screenings

The screening events kick off on Tuesday, May 16, from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. 

 

ELIZABETHTOWN, KY (May 12, 2023) – Baptist Health Hardin and Abound Credit Union are teaming up again this year to bring health and financial wellness to the community.

 

Baptist Health Hardin’s Wellness on Wheels mobile health unit will be stationed at Abound Credit Union branches at select dates throughout the summer. All are welcome at these events, which offer free health and financial screenings. 

 

The screening events kick off on Tuesday, May 16, from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Abound Credit Union’s Dixie Branch, 1109 North Dixie Highway in Elizabethtown.

 

“We know there is a direct correlation between physical health and financial health. The better our members and neighbors feel, the stronger they are to make healthy choices in all areas of their lives,” said Ray Springsteen, Abound Credit Union’s president and chief executive officer. “We’re proud to partner with Baptist Health to provide access for both physical and financial check ups right in our parking lots.”

Health screenings include blood pressure, body mass index, cholesterol panel, blood glucose, and health risk appraisals. Results are provided while you wait.
