Lancaster Primary Care is now Baptist Health Medical Group Primary Care

Lancaster Primary Care is joining the BHMG effective September 1.

RICHMOND, KY (August 23, 2022) – Baptist Health Medical Group is pleased to announce Lancaster Primary Care is joining the Baptist Health network of employed physicians, effective September 1. Lancaster Primary Care will be Baptist Health Medical Group Primary Care, including James Werkmeister, MD and Kelly Werkmeister, PA-C.  Roxie “Brooke” Smith, PA-C, will also be joining the team in September.

Dr. James “Jim” Werkmeister has been a lifelong Kentuckian and grew up on a small farm in Bullit County. He and his wife, Kelly Werkmeister, PA-C, have been in private practice in Garrard County for 24 years.
