Accreditation reflects commitment to standards that facilitate a higher level of performance and patient care.

RICHMOND, KENTUCKY (January 5, 2022) – Baptist Health Richmond proudly announces it has achieved accreditation through Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC), a nonprofit organization that has stood as a symbol of quality and excellence since 1986 and recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Accreditation is a process through which healthcare organizations demonstrate compliance with national standards. Accreditation by ACHC reflects an organization’s dedication and commitment to meeting standards that facilitate a higher level of performance and patient care.

Gerard, president at Baptist Health Richmond. “Earning ACHC accreditation is a significant achievement that recognizes and honors our commitment to providing safe, quality and compassionate care to our patients in the communities we serve.”

“The past two years has been a challenging time for all healthcare workers, but our team remained steadfast in delivering exceptional care,” said Dr. Mendy Blair, vice president and chief nursing officer at Baptist Health Richmond. “This accreditation validates the countless hours of teamwork and collaboration to ensuring patients receive the highest quality care at Baptist Health Richmond.”
