Baptist Health Medical Group welcomes new Cardiologist, David Saxon, MD

Dr. Saxon will oversee the area's first Heart Failure Clinic.

PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, August 3 - Madisonville native David Saxon, MD, as has returned to western Kentucky to join the Baptist Health Medical Group Cardiology at Baptist Health Paducah.

Specializing in cardiology, Dr. Saxon will oversee the area's first Heart Failure Clinic to meet the growing needs of heart patients in the community. In addition to heart failure, Dr. Saxon also specializes in pulmonary hypertension, echocardiography, cardiac CTA and cardiac nuclear imaging. Dr. Saxon provides comprehensive treatment and preventive care for patients with cardiovascular disorders, arrhythmia conditions and coronary and peripheral artery diseases.

He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and has received national board certification in internal medicine.

Dr. Saxon received his medical degree from the University of Kentucky, College of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Michigan Health System and continued his professional development with a Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at the University of North Carolina Hospital.

In addition, Dr. Saxon is also involved in the American Heart Association and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
