Louisville, KY (March 3, 2021) – Baptist Health Louisville is pleased to announce that it has been named Large Business of the Year for 2020 by The Chamber of St. Matthews. The awards recognize businesses for dedication to excellence, commitment to being the best, and improving the community. The Large Business of the Year category is for businesses with 100 or more employees.

“Baptist Health was nominated because they not only have they been on the front lines of the pandemic but also because they give so much to the community," said Chamber Director of Membership and Business Relations Josh Suiter. "Baptist Health is a vital part of our community, and they have been a major supporter of The Chamber and our Halloween in Brown Park event. We are so honored to have them as a member and as our Large Business of the Year Award winner.”

“Baptist Health Louisville is honored to be named Large Business of the Year by The Chamber of St. Matthews,” said Baptist Health Louisville President Larry Gray. “Baptist has been committed to the health and wellness of our local communities for over 97 years, 46 of them in St. Matthews. To be recognized for such contributions is a nod to our entire staff who show their dedication to excellence in patient outcomes by giving comprehensive and compassionate care each and every day. Thank you to The Chamber of St. Matthews for this very high honor.”

Winners were announced at the Chamber’s annual award ceremony last week, which was held virtually via Zoom. It is the second time that Baptist Health Louisville has received the award, having also received it during the first Chamber awards in 2015.
