Baptist Health Paducah's new support group for women with all kinds of cancer will begin a new series of classes on Oct. 1.

Baptist Health Paducah’s new support group for women with all kinds of cancer will begin a new series of classes on Oct. 1.  

 

The S.I.S.: Support, Inspire and Survive support group will meet at 5:30 p.m. each Tuesday for six weeks. The meetings will take place in the Ray & Kay Eckstein Regional Cancer Care Center.

 

Each meeting will focus on different topics important to cancer patients. The topics are:

  • Oct. 1: In It To Win It

  • Oct. 8: Health and Wellness

  • Oct. 15: Managing the Cost of Cancer Care

  • Oct. 22: Crafts for a Cause

  • Oct. 29: Good Self Care

  • Nov. 5: Living Beyond

 

Participants are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes early for a meet and greet session to chat with fellow members, guests and staff. Group members also can bring a male or female guest with them. Light snacks will be available.
