Baptist Health Madisonville to host 4th Fest family movie night
Madisonville, KY. (June 26, 2019): Baptist Health Madisonville will once again sponsor outdoor movie night at the Trover Wellness Park from 6 PM – 10 PM on Monday, July 1 as a part of Madisonville’s annual 4th Fest celebration.
This year’s movie selection is Disney’s “Wreck-It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet.”
“Spending quality time together is an important component to the overall health of a family and Baptist Health Madisonville is excited to continue to provide the movie in the park experience as a part of the city of Madisonville’s 4th Fest activities,” said Robert Ramey, president at Baptist Health Madisonville.
There will be additional activities to keep the children entertained until show time, which is approximately 8:15 pm when it becomes dark enough to see the screen. Children are encouraged to bring their bicycles and helmets to ride in a bike rally and safety course with the Madisonville Police Department. They should also bring their favorite stuffed animal to the Teddy Bear Clinic where they will receive a check-up and any needed treatment by the Family Medicine Residency staff. Ambulance tours and additional activities will also be available.
Limited concession items will be available for purchase with all proceeds benefitting local charities. The City of Madisonville will also provide free popcorn.
Families are encouraged to bring chairs or a blanket for seating.
