Treatments

At our Baptist Health Sleep Centers, we understand that a good night's sleep is essential for overall health and well-being. We offer services and treatments to help you get the rest you need.

Our consultative appointments are designed to gather information about your sleep habits and medical history. We may also conduct a sleep study, which can involve monitoring sleep stages, heart function, breathing patterns, movement, and blood oxygen levels. Sleep studies are typically scheduled during your regular sleeping hours.

You might receive CPAP or medications as part of your treatment. Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) therapy is a standard treatment for sleep apnea. A little machine sends air through a tube to a mask that you wear while sleeping. Sleep medications assist with falling asleep or remaining asleep, also known as sleep initiation and sleep duration. Some people may only need to take sleep medication occasionally, while others may need to take it on a regular basis.

Our sleep care specialists will use the information from the consultative appointment and sleep study, along with your medical history and personal information, to customize the best possible treatment plan. The goal of treatment is to help you get the rest you need to feel refreshed and energized during the day.
