Baptist Health Richmond adds a new board member

Amy Carmichael joins the board of directors.

RICHMOND, Ky. (May 3, 2022)Baptist Health Richmond has added a new member to the administrative board of directors – Amy Carmichael.

Amy is replacing Jeff Fultz, who is now serving on the Baptist Health system board of directors.

Amy Carmichael, a graduate of the University of Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky University, is the family resource center director at Kirksville Elementary School.  In addition to serving on the Baptist Health Richmond administrative board of directors, Amy is a member of Children’s Champions of Madison County, Family Resource Youth Service Center Coalition of Kentucky Region 10 representative, and active supporter of Secret Families of Madison County.  Amy is also a member of Maxwell Street Presbyterian Church.

“When I first met Amy I knew she was the perfect leader to serve on the hospital board,” said Greg D. Gerard, president of Baptist Health Richmond. “The compassion and love she has for supporting children and families in our community is remarkable. Her experience will be instrumental in helping our board be innovative in our approach to meeting the needs of our community and eliminating barriers for all to receive quality healthcare.”
