Baptist Health Hardin changes parking, entry, on February 7 as construction progresses

February 04, 2022

Effective Monday, Feb. 7, its Radiology reception and waiting area have relocated.

Elizabethtown, KY (Feb. 4, 2022) – Baptist Health Hardin has announced that effective Monday, Feb. 7, its Radiology reception and waiting area have relocated. The existing Radiology entrance at the rear of the hospital, and the adjacent parking, known as the Blue Parking Lot, will close to make way for construction of a connector from the main hospital to the new outpatient medical pavilion which is currently under construction.

Patients visiting Radiology, the Complex Care Clinic and the Monoclonal Antibody Clinic should park in the parking garage, or in the limited parking along the front of the hospital. Additional parking is also available in the North Tower parking lot.

Patients should now enter through the Main Entrance at the front of the hospital and proceed to Patient Registration. Once registered, they will be directed to the correct department to check-in.

Patients who have questions about their radiology procedures should call 270.706.1645 and ask to speak to someone in the Radiology Department. Patients should plan to arrive 30 minutes early to allow time for registration and exam preparation.

Patients visiting the Monoclonal Antibody Clinic should call 270.979.7100 to notify the clinic of their arrival and wait for a member of the clinic staff to escort them inside the building and to the clinic.

LED signs will be placed at several key locations to redirect vehicle traffic to the appropriate parking areas. Signage will also be in place to help direct pedestrian traffic.

“Baptist Health Hardin strives to deliver excellence in care and service with every patient experience,” stated Baptist Health Hardin Assistant Vice President of Operations Steve White.  “This change will be a major transition for patients, and especially for those with a long history with our hospital. Our team is committed to making the transition easy and convenient for patients so that they know exactly where to go and can get there easily.

“We are excited to watch the continued progress on the new outpatient medical pavilion that will be such a benefit to our patients and our community,” added White. “With each day, we are one step closer to that bright future that lies ahead at Baptist Health Hardin.”

Current campus and parking maps are available online on the Patients & Visitors page at BaptistHealth.com/Hardin.
