Reconstructive Surgery

Reconstructive surgery includes surgical procedures that are designed to restore function and form to body parts that have been impacted by trauma or treatment. In each case, Dr. Brown works closely with treating physicians and the patient to determine the best course of action for care.

Procedures include, but not limited to:

• Breast reconstruction
• Breast reduction
• Breast augmentation
• Excess abdominal skin removal
• Eyelid surgery: Blepharoplasty and eyelid ptosis repair
• Medical Botox® for migraines
• Skin cancer removal
• Scar revision

In the case of breast reconstruction, Dr. Brown is a member of Baptist Health Louisville’s Multidisciplinary Breast Program and is involved in each breast cancer patient’s journey. He works closely with Baptist Health Louisville surgeons ahead of initial procedures to ensure that all reconstruction options are considered. This consultation allows for a seamless transition into the reconstructive journey.
