Apple Crisp Recipe
Be sure to try this fall-inspired, nutritious and delicious apple crisp.
- 1 1/2 c. oatmeal
- 3/4 c. almond flour
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 6 T. tub margarine or tub butter (blend)
- 1 T. + 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 c. sliced, peeled apples
- 1/2 c. raisins (optional)
- 1 T. lemon juice
Peel and slice the apples. Place in a pie plate or 9-inch cake pan. Sprinkle with raisins (optional) and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Drizzle lemon juice over apples in a baking dish. In a medium-sized bowl, crumble together oatmeal, brown sugar, margarine, 1 tablespoon cinnamon and almond flour. Spread mixture over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes or until apples are tender. Serves 8.
