Dr. Jha has joined the Baptist Health Cardiology team to offer compassionate, patient-centered care with a strong commitment to prevention and early intervention. Dr. Jha is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Indiana University. He specializes in preventive cardiology with a focus on coronary artery disease, cardiometabolic disorders, lipidology, and advanced cardiac imaging—including coronary artery calcium scoring, cardiac CT angiography, echocardiography, and stress testing. His area of expertise involves identifying high-risk individuals who are at higher risk of a heart attack or stroke, allowing for early intervention and prevention strategies. He employs a comprehensive approach using lifestyle modifications and targeted pharmacotherapies to reduce cardiovascular risk in high-risk patients, including those with heart disease, stroke, psoriasis, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, high cholesterol level, familial hypercholesterolemia, diabetes, and metabolic syndrome.
