Baptist Health offers virtual workshop for young women living with metastatic breast cancer

This is a two-part session to be held on Thursday, April 15, and Thursday, April 22 from 6:30-8 p.m.

Louisville, KY – April 2, 2021 – Learning you have metastatic breast cancer (MBC) can be overwhelming. If you have been diagnosed with MBC, please join us for a virtual workshop to get tips and tools to help you cope with your diagnosis and common side effects, build confidence, and empower you to take charge of your health.

This is a two-part session to be held on Thursday, April 15, and Thursday, April 22 from 6:30-8 p.m.

Topics that will be covered include understanding treatment goals, dealing with early menopause, sex and intimacy, and self-care.

There will be time for questions and opportunities to connect with other members of the workshop for support. There will be a free gift for the first 40 participants.

This free session is for young women diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer and is presented in partnership by Baptist Health LexingtonBaptist Health Louisville and Living Beyond Breast Cancer, a national nonprofit organization. 

By signing up you will register for BOTH sessions. Each session will cover different topics and are meant to be presented together.
