Baptist Health Hardin temporary changes to Main Entrance, Emergency Dept. entrance reopens
Changes in affect Friday, Nov. 26 through Saturday, Nov. 27.
Elizabethtown, KY (Nov. 24, 2021) – On Friday, Nov. 26, preparations will begin for crews to pave the driveway at the Main Entrance. Preparation and paving will continue through Saturday, Nov. 27.
Starting at daylight on Friday and continuing through Saturday, the driveway at the Main Entrance will be closed to vehicle traffic.
Patients who normally use this area for pick-up and drop-off will need to use the Gift Shop Entrance, which is just to the North of the Main Entrance.
Signage and staff will be in place to help redirect the flow of traffic.
The Gift Shop Entrance will be open for 24-hour access during the paving process, and screeners will be in place.
Sidewalks leading to the Main Entrance will be open in both directions, except for a short period of approximately one hour needed to prepare surfaces. During this brief period, pedestrian traffic will be rerouted around the sidewalk.
Additionally, the Emergency Department entrance has reopened to vehicle traffic.
The paving project will give the Main Entrance a new and improved look and enhanced experience for patients and visitors.
