Baptist Health Richmond to display KODA donor quilt offer donor registry sign-up April 15

A Donor Family Quilt memorializing and honoring Kentucky individuals who helped others through organ and tissue donations will be on display Monday, April 15 at Baptist Health Richmond. A representative of Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates (KODA) will be at the display to answer questions about organ and tissue donation and offer an opportunity to join the Kentucky Organ Donor Registry.

RICHMOND, Ky. (April 8, 2019) – A Donor Family Quilt memorializing and honoring Kentucky individuals who helped others through organ and tissue donations will be on display Monday, April 15 at Baptist Health Richmond. A representative of Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates (KODA) will be at the display to answer questions about organ and tissue donation and offer an opportunity to join the Kentucky Organ Donor Registry.

The display - open 11 am – 1 pm – will be located near the north entrance of the main hospital.

Baptist Health Richmond joins other area hospitals and KODA in the National Hospital Organ Donation Campaign. The campaign challenges hospitals to educate employees, patients, visitors and community about the crucial need for organ, eye and tissue donation, and to provide opportunities to register as donors.
