Baptist Health Paducah’s vascular lab has earned a three-year re-accreditation by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories.

Baptist Health is accredited in peripheral arterial testing, peripheral venous testing and extracranial cerebrovascular testing. Vascular procedures help detect life-threatening heart disorders, stroke and other diseases.

Only facilities that provide quality patient care receive accreditation. The accreditation process considers what kind of equipment a laboratory uses, how it is maintained, testing protocols, reporting procedures, quality-assurance processes, training and qualifications of the staff.
