Baptist Health Paducah to offer Kangaroo Klub support group in Marshall County

Kangaroo Klub, the breastfeeding support group at Baptist Health Paducah, has added a third location.

Kangaroo Klub Marshall County will meet from 1 to 2:30 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month at Mike Miller Park Visitor’s Center in Draffenville. The first meeting will be Tuesday, July 2. The Marshall County Health Department is the group’s co-sponsor.

 

The group gives pregnant or breastfeeding mothers the opportunity to meet others who share their experiences.  An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant will facilitate the group. The meeting will include an educational segment addressing breastfeeding/parenting issues, as well as resources, refreshments and door prizes.

 

Kangaroo Klub Paducah meets 1 to 2:30 p.m. on the first Friday of each month in the Mother & Baby Care Education Room, second floor of Medical Park 2, on the Baptist Health Paducah campus. To get to the classroom, enter by the Apple Wall.

 

Kangaroo Klub Metropolis meets 10 to 11:30 a.m. the third Thursday of each month at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1119 Market St., Metropolis, Ill.
