Area college students selected for Baptist Health Pre-Med Academy

Baptist Health Paducah has selected 16 students from nine colleges for its third Pre-Med Academy summer program.

Baptist Health Paducah has selected 16 students from nine colleges for its third Pre-Med Academy summer program.

 

The academy is designed to assist college students in their medical career development and to foster relationships with future physicians. 

 

Students are Camryn Crass, Thailandria Daniels, Hanna Fischer, Taylor Gray, Skylar Hargrove, Cody Hayden, Emily Hodges, Emily Hulette, Jeremy Latham, Alec McClain, Jonnah McManus, Peyton Patel, Matthew Skinner, Sarah Thompson, Meghan Walker and Taylor Willis.

 

They represent Murray State University, West Kentucky Community & Technical College, Western Kentucky University, Centre College, University of Kentucky, Freed-Hardeman University, University of Louisville, Transylvania University and Louisiana State University.

 

Participation will help students network for future job opportunities and provide valuable experience for applications to graduate programs, he added.  The internship will average 24 hours a week for eight weeks.
