Baptist Health safety officer receives American Society of Healthcare Engineers designation

Ron Henley, safety officer for Baptist Health Paducah, was recently recognized by the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) of the American Hospital Association.

Ron Henley, safety officer for Baptist Health Paducah, was recently recognized by the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) of the American Hospital Association.

 

ASHE celebrated its members’ outstanding contributions to improving the health care physical environment during its 55th Annual Conference and Technical Exhibition in July.

 

Henley was one of 11 people who were bestowed with senior status with ASHE for being members in good standing for at least five years and supporting the organization in terms of education and leadership. He has more than 37 years of experience in healthcare engineering.  

 

ASHE is a professional membership group of the American Hospital Association. More than 12,500 members count ASHE as a key source of professional development, information about the field and advocacy, including representation on key issues that affect their work in the physical health care environment.
