Matt Snow receives American Society of Healthcare Engineering award

Matt Snow, executive director of facilities who is responsible for engineering/maintenance, bio-medical engineering, laundry, security and safety at Baptist Health Paducah, was recently received the Regional Leader Award from the American Society of Healthcare Engineering, a division of the American Hospital Association.

Matt Snow, executive director of facilities who is responsible for engineering/maintenance, bio-medical engineering, laundry, security and safety at Baptist Health Paducah, was recently received the Regional Leader Award from the American Society of Healthcare Engineering, a division of the American Hospital Association.

The award recognizes leadership and contributions to the field of healthcare facility management.  He will be honored during the annual conference on Aug. 7 in Indianapolis.

Snow has worked at Baptist Health for almost three years. He previously worked as a project engineer for Marcum Engineering and as a HVAC sales engineer for Harshaw Trane. 

He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Kentucky College of Engineering and a master of business administration with a focus in healthcare management from Western Governors University.  He is a licensed professional engineer and certified energy manager. He is currently co-chair of the Paducah Young Professionals steering committee, past-president of Leadership Paducah Foundation Board and board member of the Kentucky Society of Healthcare Engineers , West Kentucky Regional Chamber Alliance and Paducah Power Foundation.
