March 30 is Doctors Day
In appreciation to our doctors for the lives they touch, today and every day.
While healthcare advocates have recognized Doctors’ Day in the U.S. since 1933, President George H.W. Bush designated the day as an official day of celebration, declaring March 30 as “National Doctors’ Day” in 1991. At Baptist Health, we take this opportunity each year to recognize and show appreciation to the outstanding doctors in our hospitals, physician offices and clinics across Kentucky and in southern Indiana.
Our lives are touched by the caring hands of a doctor before we are even born, and throughout our lives, they are there for us, healing us when we are sick and guiding us to good health. Because of this, we don’t take our doctors for granted. We are grateful for their skill, their expertise, and their commitment, but also for their dedication to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. And, we’re thankful for their leadership throughout our health system and in the community.
Please join us in celebrating our doctors, today and every day.
